Here are some simple tips to follow through with the new year resolutions that you may have already made:
Wherever you are, is the best place to start.
STOP worrying about what you couldn’t accomplish in the past. The best starting point for living a healthier life is RIGHT NOW.
The little wins matter
Set small goals and every time you take a positive step toward achieving your goal, it’s reason enough to congratulate yourself and smile.
Compromising on hours of sleep can make you irritable and moody, affecting your productivity. Depending on your prakriti and the amount of energy you require for the day, you need at least 6-8 hours of sleep.
Every morning exercise, meditate, and bring your focus on to what you can get done today.
Food is medicine
If you’re looking to improve your health, do not starve yourself. Treat your body like a temple and the food you eat as holy offering. Eat well and relish every bite.
Transform a habit
If you’re trying to stop following a habit, don’t just practice avoidance. Replace it with something better. For example, if you’re used to eating junk food every evening, don’t starve yourself to quit, but start by replacing it with food that is healthy.
Focus on one thing at a time
If you open multiple tabs on your computer, there comes a point, where it slows down, or even crash. Your brain in this regard, is like a computer. So learn to focus on one thing and give it all your attention before jumping on to the next.
We wish you a happy and healthy start to 2019!
